Charity Status awarded to Motorcycle Outreach

The Board and Trustees of Motorcycle Outreach Limited (MoR) are delighted to announce that on June 15th 2006 Motorcycle Outreach Limited became registered charity number 1114675.

Becoming a Charity means that MoR can benefit from several tax concessions, including becoming a member of the Gift Aid scheme whereby for every £1 donated, MoR can claim an extra 28 pence from the tax office. MoR will also feature in a list of charities to whom donors can give anonymously via the Inland Revenue. To do this, donors who complete a simple form can donate any tax rebates due to a charity of their choice.

Additionally, MoR is listed on a new website, GuideStar UK, which promotes the UK’s voluntary and community sector by providing comprehensive information about UK charities and their activities.
